For 15 years I designed fashion. I built there, I built a business, and I taught myself everything on the job, through trial and error, through years of doing.

Everything was great and shiny, but I walked around for a long time with the feeling that I was living a life that was no longer right for me.

Inside, I was looking for meaning and didn't always find it.

I realized that I was part of a big machine of consumption, and that's not what I wanted to bring into the world.

Then the moment came, and I decided to change direction, close the business, give up the name I created,

and start over again.

The fear was real and present, quite a few people said it wasn't worth it,

but I decided to bet on myself.

To believe in myself the way I believed in myself when I opened my first business,

only with the belief in myself and the feeling that I could be at least as good as everyone else, if not better.

I decided to move through the fear, not wait for it to go away, and fulfill myself once again.

And now I'm trying to teach others to do the same.
